The Companies We Represent In New England |
|
This company invented silane waterproofing technology with their SIL-ACT line. Why not go with the pioneers? While the rest of the industry was pre-occupied with pirating their products and customers, they were busy developing VOC compliant penetrating sealers. Now that the VOC regs have changed and they are the only ones not “ caught with their pants down” ,with the new VOC regulations they have re-established themselves. Why not represent the industry leader? |
|
The only true 100% solids polyurethane deck coating membrane system? Why not? Being a 100 % solids compound, it does not lose components in the form of vapor which can create bubbles or pockmarks and week adhesion points at the traction aggregate. And….no odors during installation. Why not represent the best? |
|
They are a world leader in architectural and seismic joint solutions. They are innovative in that they have come up with a seismic joint system where the whole system does not have to be removed when the santoprene gasket wears out. Just the gasket gets replaced. They also just rolled out a line of fire-proof joints covers. They have solutions the industry needs so we took the line on. Besides, it goes hand in hand with our APT deck coating line. |

They chased us for a year to represent their spray polyurethane foam insulation line including their Walltite® insulating air barrier product. Once we saw a demo of the product and reviewed the benefits of spray foam in general, we were hooked. You will be too. It is currently being installed on a dozen projects in New England and seems to be the only reliable solution for installing air barriers and insulation on the interior side of precast concrete veneer panels. |

Never heard of them? Neither had we, but we were looking for a sealant line to round out or product offerings for the building enclosure system. Turns out the Bondaflex line is offered by May National Associates, Inc. who has been manufacturing and private labeling sealant materials for over 20 years. Chances are, sealant materials made by May National Associates have been installed on your buildings under some very trusted and recognizable names. If those big name companies trust them to develop and manufacture their products, then so do we. |

When the Mass Commercial Building Code changed to require air barriers, we saw a problem with the existing, commonly used veneer anchors. We looked at all of the U. S. Company’s anchors, saw shortcomings in all of them and were even asked to present on our observations and opinions at the BSA BEC and Build Boston. The industry needed a good veneer anchor system for projects with air and vapor barriers so we took a look up North in Canada since they have been using air barriers for years and found Blok-Lok. They also have a complete line of masonry stabilization anchors to boot. |

We all have our pet peeves in this industry and mine was always cleaning masonry during the twenty years I spent doing masonry waterproofing and restoration work. EaCo Chem was brought to us by one of my best friends. I sat there and listened to the owner brag about how good his products were and what they could do. When I was thoroughly convinced his products could not do anything near what he said they could do, I took him to the Lewis Wharf restoration project so he could demo his products. His stuff took off EVERYTHING and without damaging other work, cars and workers. Graffiti, carbon stains, paint, sealers, dirt, rust and mortar smears. We were sold so now we sell it. |

We needed to add a weep baffle product to our line of products but were sold on the keystone profiled product that we felt set the standard for the industry. Then we were shown a test report that proved that straight strip woven weep baffle performs just as well as keystone profiled weep baffle. Keene made the product along with many other drainage solution products. They also make the most innovative sound mat products and accessories so we decided to take on the line. We came up with a few ideas for new products and applications and Keene has embraced them and now offers them. Besides, Jim Keene is great guy and we really like him. |

We came across Hyload at an AIA Convention years ago. What a concept in through wall flashing! An extreme exposure, self adhering TPE roofing membrane as a flashing product? Heck yeah! What a great idea. And it came over here from the UK where it has been used since the mid 1960’s. Here’s the best part. They mold their inside corners, outside corners, end dams, stop ends, etc. Most building leaks are due to improper flashing installations. Either they are done wrong or the product is installed in a manner that it cannot perform correctly. This system is as idiot-proof as a flashing system can be. Another great solution to add to our line! You’ll love it on your building. |

When Meadows approached us, we did some research on them as we do with all companies we consider to rep. What we found out was that Meadows is about the last bastion of integrity left in this industry. A privately held company still run by the Meadows family with over 200 products and a motto of “ Quality, Integrity and Service “? Now who wouldn’t want such a company on their side? In our dealings with them, they have always stood behind their products, distributors, contractors and the design professionals who specify their products. They never back away from a problem or a solution. Bottom line is, they do their homework. It has been nothing short of a pleasure dealing with this company and the family that runs it. Give them a shot. You will be as pleased in dealing with them as we are. |

These guys found us, but what a find for the concrete repair industry!!! A machine that takes the stress and fatigue of running a demo hammer off of the worker and significantly improves productivity.
Purchasers are reporting 3 to 4 times greater production on vertical surfaces and 5 to 6 times greater production on overhead applications. |
